Anyone who has ever met Sam and Bonnie Klika or their children (and grandchildren) knows that Sam Klika hasn't let MS change his optimistic, hopeful, cheerful attitude, but the disease has had an impact on his family and his lifestyle.  Every year his family is committed to the MS Walk and to finding a cure ("Where is it?" Zachary asked during his first walk when he was five years old), and this year Little Sam and I had the pleasure of joining Sam and Bonnie in the walk in La Crosse.  We had a beautiful sunny day and the hopeful news that significant studies are being done in the area of stem cell research at the University of Wisconsin.  But the research is controversial and depends on the generosity of individuals such as yourself.  Take a moment to enjoy the pictures of our day, and I hope you can find a little spare change to contribute to this very worthwhile and important cause that touches so many of the people that
Little Sam and I love.
